Was born in Somerset and studied at Taunton School of Art. Before moving to Scotland, Myra managed design studios throughout England and Wales during the 1960s. When she came to Scotland Myra concentrated on fine art (both producing the work and selling it) and started to run galleries in Macduff, Aberchirder and Portsoy.

Myra enjoys painting Scottish scenic views but she also finds her subject matter in a beautiful still lifes (e.g. flowers) or in lively wild life compositions. Myra works in watercolour and oil.
